Contract

The contract begins with the acceptance of the guest request by the hotel. This acceptance is only binding once written confirmation has been received from the hotel and payment of a deposit has been received. Verbal agreements are not valid. The contractual partners are the hotel and the guest, or the person who made the reservation. These are responsible for the guest contract. The hotel is committed to provide the services promised by the hotel that have been booked by the event organiser. The prices agreed when making the contract are binding and include VAT. Please note that any services not made use of within the arrangement cannot be reimbursed. Similarly, seminar arrangements cannot be split into individual payments.

Check in / check out

On the day of your arrival, hotel rooms are available from 15:00. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed, we reserve the right after 18:00 to offer the hotel rooms to others. On your day of departure, please hand in your room’s key card to reception before 11:00. Later checkout is only possible if agreed with hotel reception in advance. We will happily look after your luggage in a secure room until your departure.

Restaurant bills

All restaurant bills must be checked by the appropriate person after each visit to the restaurant and signed for. Claims the next day or on your departure day will not be considered.

Alterations to the number of evnent participants and group trips

If the number of participants changes by more than 10%, you must let us know at the latest by 3 days before the starting date, and the change must be agreed by us.

A reduction of the number of participants by up to 10% will be taken into account by us when billing. For changes that are more than this, we reserve the right to bill for 50% of the initial booked arrangement.

Cancellation of rooms

  • Up to 30 days prior to arrival: no charge
  • Up to 14 days prior to arrival: 60% of the agreed price
  • Up to 7 days prior to arrival: 80% of the agreed price.
  • No shows: 100% of the average list price (not including breakfast)

Cancellations must be notified in written form. We take every effort to sell rooms that are not being used in order to keep cancellation charges to a minimum.

Cancellation of day seminars

Free cancellation of a contract between the customer and hotel needs written agreement from the Gradonna****s Mountain Resort Chalets & hotel Kals. In the absence of this, a proportion of the agreed services must be paid, even if the customer does not make use of these services. If the customer does not cancel until between 8 and 4 weeks prior to the date of the event, the hotel reserves the right to charge 35% of the lost revenue, which rises to 70% if notice is received later. Calculation of the loss in revenue is according to the formula: the arrangement price of the event plus drinks x number of participants. Drinks are calculated at a third of the arrangement price.
